So Sweet! Brides : Stephanie

In April 7, 2018 Stephanie & Brandon tied the knot and celebrate their love in the beautiful The Island House in Johns Island, SC.

With their first anniversary around the corner we asked Stephanie about her experience with So Sweet! And this is what she said!

A Simple and Down to Earth Cake “I wanted my wedding cake to be simple. Neither one of use is very flashy so the cake and really the whole wedding had a very “simple” concept. I liked the idea of having a buttercream frosting for the cake because even though I love what people can do with fondant I liked the idea of having something a little more down earth. I didn’t want any big designs or anything so I went with the addition of just a couple flowers instead.” Finally, Cake... “The cake that So Sweet! made was absolutely perfect! I actually only got have a small bite during the wedding, but it was so good and it looked amazing! After all the chaos was over I was able to go back and have an actual piece and it was delicious!”

Communication "The communication was perfect. Anytime I had a question Heidi responded within a few minutes to an hour at the very most. "My advice to anyone getting married in Charleston is DON’T DO IT the day of the Cooper River Bridge Run. Unfortunately, it was the only day available for our venue, but it made everything a little more hectic. And as with every wedding, make sure to book everything as far in advance as possible or at least pick out the options that way you aren’t scrambling. Charleston is such a beautiful city and since everyone wants to get married there it makes booking anything next to impossible. But make it as fun as possible too, it’s so stressful planning a wedding, so you have to do things that are enjoyable too so you don’t pull your hair out!
